AI Startup Enters South Africa Market

Cogniviti Labs, a Singapore-headquartered AI and digital transformation firm, has announced its expansion into South Africa as part of its global growth strategy. The launch brings the company’s award-winning AI-powered enterprise solutions and digital transformation expertise to South African organizations looking to modernize procurement, finance, and business operations.

Global Expansion

Founded in Singapore, Cogniviti Labs has expanded rapidly, establishing operations in Singapore, India, and Indonesia, with Australia, the United Kingdom, and South Africa now coming online. The company combines the strategic rigor of global consulting with deep operational expertise, bringing together leaders who have designed and delivered large-scale digital transformation programs for complex organizations.

The African business will be led by Manav Sachdeva, a recognized ProcureTech and digital transformation leader with over two decades of experience in procurement innovation, automation, and technology-led transformation. Cogniviti Labs South Africa will operate with a local sales and delivery team based in Johannesburg, supported by the group’s established delivery centers in Singapore and India.

Core Offerings

Cogniviti Labs will provide end-to-end Coupa source-to-pay transformation, combining operating model design, solution implementation, change management, and the deployment of Coupa AI agents to ensure enterprises unlock measurable business value from their digital investments. The company has also developed its own stack of AI-driven Spend Analytics and Master Data Management tools that transform complex, fragmented spend and master data into actionable intelligence.

Manav Sachdeva stated that the South African business will initially focus on three core offerings, including Agentic AI for the future enterprise, which is designed to augment enterprise teams by automating complex workflows, generating insights, and enabling faster decision-making.

Cogniviti Labs’ entry into South Africa represents more than geographic expansion – it reflects the growing demand for a new generation of transformation partners that combine strategic advisory experience, deep enterprise technology expertise, and AI-led innovation. Manav Sachdeva believes that South African organizations are entering a new era of transformation where they must adopt AI quickly to turn it into measurable business value.

Partnership Approach

Cogniviti Labs is different because it brings together the strategic thinking of a global consultancy, the execution capability of a technology partner, and the innovation mindset of an AI company. The company is not here to simply implement software – it is here to partner with organizations to solve complex business challenges, co-create intelligent solutions, and help redefine the future of procurement and finance.

According to Manav Sachdeva, “unlike other off-the-shelf solutions, we co-develop AI-powered procurement solutions with our clients, tailoring them to their specific business challenges, processes, and data environments.”
