Portal Advanced Case Transforms PC into Wall-Mounted Liquid Cooling System

Singularity Computers has released the Portal Advanced, a $499 wall-mounted PC case designed to display high-end builds. The case features anodized 6061 aluminum, cast acrylic, and steel, with support for mini-ITX to E-ATX motherboards. It includes an integrated distribution plate with a D5 pump top and reservoir, though users must supply their own pump and radiators.

The Portal Advanced accommodates two 420mm radiators on each side of the motherboard, regardless of thickness. Fill and drain ports use standard 12 G1/4” fittings. The open interior allows for large graphics cards in vertical or horizontal orientations, but power supplies must stay under 9.8 inches (250mm) in length.

Its price jumps 25% for the black variant ($499) and 50% for the white ($599) compared to the standard Portal’s $399. Optional upgrades include carbon, silver, or gold mirror finishes for $49 extra. Accessories like legs ($119), a powerboard ($149), or a VESA mount ($29) expand its versatility.

Users can order it directly from the company’s website, with a two-week estimated delivery. Its design prioritizes aesthetics, with a full rear panel and dedicated power supply cover. However, the lack of pre-installed pumps or radiators may require prior experience with liquid cooling systems.

Compared to similar cases, its focus on display and cooling integration sets it apart. Its price reflects premium materials and customization options, but the steep cost may limit appeal to enthusiasts willing to invest in a showpiece build.

Its open layout and radiator support cater to users aiming for both performance and visual impact. While the liquid cooling setup is modular, the need for manual assembly could deter those seeking a plug-and-play solution. The design, while sleek, does require some careful planning for those new to custom builds.

The company’s approach highlights a niche market for wall-mounted cases that balance function and form. Its features align with trends in high-end PC customization, though its price point may not suit all buyers. Availability through the company’s online store ensures direct access for interested customers.
